  • How did you get into Robert Cray?
It was the summer of 1988 at the Del Mar Fair in San Diego. He had to have been touring on "Don't be afraid of the dark". Robert's singing and guitar playing, along with Stevie Ray and Clapton made a high school teenager want to be a blues player. Heavy Metal was the norm but not for me, what Robert and the other guys were playing was coming from somewhere different and much more real. After 20 plus years, still a big fan and looking forward to years of great music from Robert. I've seen about ten shows mostly in the L.A. area. All of his band line-ups have been awesome, Jim Pugh - what can you say - "phenomenal" and man it's good to see Richard Cousins back. I do miss the horns, hopefully they'll make their way back in too. Dominic Rocha Riverside, CA

Midnight Stroll - by far is the best album and a true Blues classic. "Forecast calls for pain" says it all.
